YAYAYAYAYYAYAYAYAYYAYYA

SNOW is coming, snow is coming, snow is coming... come on chant it with me now! I can feel it. Ohhhh this storm should be a doozy! While there in NO looks of snow right now, I know in my heart that its coming: tonight. As following in my snow day ritual, I am not doing any homework tonight. Instead, I will wake up at 6 and see if there a mountains of snow coving the ground. If not, then I will do my homework. But, to my dismay, what usually happens is that I am so glued to abc news tv show and website that i never really do my homework. I do have to keep with tradition though (right???)
Snow is coming (i can hear the guests chanting my little ditty from their computers)
Mary
PS. I know that it will snow today because i have been SO religious this whole week. Saturday: church, Sunday: church, Monday: Gossip Girl (which basically is a religion to me) Tuesday: church and reconciliation. Everyday, i say a little prayer to God asking him for this Blizzard to come. And God always makes sure that my prayers are answered ( how do you think i got my Madeline doll, Nellie,my ears pierced and Ugg boots ago???)

Snow's falling real slowly Pt.2

Part of the best day EVER was a little incident i gym class i like to call, Brendan Robey hitting Mr. Payne in the stomach. While I will not share every detail, well..... i guess i wont share ANY details. You guys can just call text, email, iChat, carrier pigeon me.
But back to snow. One thing I forgot to mention was what the season of snow is doing for my Christmas planning. One little tip in Extravaganza planning, wait to really get the ball in motion after it snows. Seeing that disgusting muddy grass while Extravaganza shopping is just hideous. Now i feel rejuvenated in my planning and am ready to get my hands dirty
Thank You Snow, you came just at the right time

snow's falling real slowly

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! today was just about the best day ever. I wake up and look out onto to snow covered roofs of neighbors homes and what looked like a fresh dusting of snow onto the dried up brownish green grass. HOW MAGICAL! Mind you, this was at 6:30 and i hopped out of bed as quick as a wink. This really made me giddy. There's something about snow, when it is delicately on the ground and the only tracks in it is the small tracks of Clarise the Bunny. Oh, how I love the first snow. The first snow is ...... perfect. Even if it is just a teeny tiny amount. Well, not too tiny, enough to cover the grass. While this snow didn't cove all of the grass I can assure all that there will be quite a wipe out coming tomorrow night. I do dread that night so. Knowing that I will be SO distracted with the blizzard like conditions I should just tell my teachers that I will not have ANY of my homework done on Wednesday. HAHAHA take that CJP
Peace and Snow

WOW

I am really sorry that i haven't posted in soooooo long :(
but, i am quite perplexed about my blog today. I had a guest post quite a nasty comment about my Christmas Extravaganza
The writer commented on my little elf post and I just wanted to clear up all this confusion
The writer wrote
Dear Monster Sized,
i think this little elf stunt you're pulling is a total disgrace. you are in over your head and having someone else help you shows that you can't handle the pressure. also, the idea of you needing more help indicates that the party will be really great. i have a feeling that you won't be able to deliver and live up to the sky high standards of your guests.
we are all expecting the best party EVER. anything less will be an utter disappointment and might affect the outcome of next year event.
in fact, if this party is not up to par, the other guests and i have agreed to leave and congregate in Sue's for an amazing post party that you will most definitely not be invited to.
i short, if this party doesn't blow our minds, you'll be spending Christmas Eve alone. in your room. with no one but Eve and her red bow for company. well actually, i cut up the red bow, so that would just make it you and a wooden duck...

I suppose I found this a little offensive, but thats just me. Please send me you feedback on this post. Let me remind you, I'm not trying to single out anyone for their slightly offensive comment, I just would like others feedback to I can know if im overreacting.
Let me remind you, IM NOT SINGLING OUT ANYONE!
LOVE YOU
MARY

my little elf

Tomorrow is December 1st. Does that say enough? Oh my, I just have so much to do. Thank God i have a little elf helping me this year. That's right, Mary's Christmas Extravaganza has gotten so HUGE that I've had to ask for help. Now, don't think that I'm slacking off because I'M NOT. While my little elf will help me with some of my bigger jobs , I am supervising ALL activities.
Please Don't Think Less Of Me,
Mary

So sad
i was trying to vlog to you guys but it did not work :(
what i was trying to speak about was the importance of giving back. Even in tough economic times it is important to remember how lucky we are. That said, Mary's Christmas Extravaganza wants to give back and that why I've decided to change the mandatory gifts to me to donating a flock of chicks or ducks.

the season of joy

Last night, my sister Ellen and I were lying in Sue's just thinking about the wonderful season of CHRISTMAS. There's the Christmas cookies, the Christmas shopping, the Christmas carols, the Christmas TV specials.... Who doesn't love the Christmas season? As I was lying in Sue's I then realized the true meaning of Mary's Christmas Extravaganza; that it's not how fabulous the party is (trust me, it will be FAB-U-LOUS) but that it's about celebrating the most wonderful time of the year with a celebration. Right now I'm listening to WLIT and they were just saying how the holidays are great but they can be stressful. As stressful as my party is I know what joy it is giving my guests. Am I right? Or am I right??
